The second stage of production is considerably different from the first. Firstly, gloves will no longer rely on potentiometers for mechanical perception. Instead, they will be equipped with flex sensors on each finger and relay gesture recognition to the microcontroller. In addition, a space motion sensor will be placed on the index finger and wrist to capture the movement of the entire hand and fingers in space, providing data to the microcontroller. All this information will be sent to the Microcontroller, Arduino Nano, and then Bluetooth module will transfer it to the application on our smartphones. The application will match hand gestures with spoken language and return the data to the microcontroller, then voiced aloud using a built-in speaker. We also have added a microphone to the gloves, which will record the voice of the interlocutor and send it to the application. From there, it will be converted into text and displayed on the built-in screen. This feature will enable the communication to be dual-sided.
